Kevins death shocked his entire family.
KEVIN WAS ONE OF THREE SONS TO ALEX AND ANNE, BROTHER TO ALEX AND PAUL, BROTHER IN LAW TO CHAR. HE
GREW UP IN BRIDGEND ST IN THE MID CRAIGIE AREA OF DUNDEE, AND WENT TO MID CRAIGIE PRIMARY SCHOOL,
KEVIN WAS INTO EVERYTHING AS A BOY CLIMBING WAS ONE OF THEM, FROM RAILINGS TO TREES PYLONS AND
EVEN THE SCHOOL ROOF WAS NOTHING TO HIM, THERE WASNT ONE TERM THAT KEVIN DIDNT BREAK A BONE OR TWO,
ONE DAY KEVIN CAME IN AND SAID DAD IVE BEEN SHOT WITH AN AIR GUN, WE TOOK HIM TO HOSPITAL AND HE
KEPT THE PELLET THAT WAS REMOVED FROM HIS STOMACH,HE PLAYED FOOTBALL F0R LINCRAIG BOYS FOR A FEW
YEARS, ONE DAY HE PLAYED ON WITH WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE A BROKEN LEG, SADLY THAT WAS HIS LAST GAME,
HE WAS A KEEN GLASGOW RANGERS FAN AND ALSO A SEASON TICKET HOLDER, HE ALSO TRAVELLED TO WATCH
DUNDEE, HE WAS ALSO A KEEN GOLFER BEING A MEMBER OF CAIRD PARK GOLF CLUB WITH CLOSE FRIEND ALBERT.
HE LEFT PRIMARY AND WENT TO THE MORGAN, HE DIDNT LIKE SECONDRY TO MUCH, BUT STUCK IT OUT, WHEN HE
LEFT KEVIN WANTED NOTHING ELSE THAN TO BE A BRICKIE WHICH HE DID, HE STARTED OF WITH BROWN
CONSTRUCTION, HE WORKED ON SEVERAL SITES IN AROUND DUNDEE WITH THE SAME SQAUD BOB AND THE TWO JIMS,
HE WAS WELL KNOWING YOU ALLWAYS HEARD KEVIN BEFORE YOU SAW HIM, HE WAS ALSO THE THE BEST DRESSED
BRICKIE AROUND WITH HIS FAVOURITE LACOSTE WEAR ON SITE, NO CHEAPIES FOR KEV. HE WAS A PARTNER TO
VICKIE, DAD TO NATASHA AND PAUL AND A LOVING SON IN LAW TO JOAN, HE WAS GRANDSON TO ALEX AND NELLIE,
BETTY AND THE LATE JIM ALSO A LOVING UNCLE NEPHEW AND COUSIN. HE TOOK ON A PART TIME JOB AS A
DELIVERY DRIVER FOR KINGSWAY CUISINE TO HELP PAY HIS CAR AND TO FUND A HOLIDAY,ONE NIGHT HE WAS
GIVING A POLICE ESCORT TO DELIVER A PIZZA BECAUSE HE WAS WEARING HIS RANGERS TOP AND CELTIC WERE IN
DUNDEE THAT NIGHT, HE WAS BOOKED TO GO ON HOLIDAY TO BULGARIA A TRIP THAT HIS KIDS WERE LOOKING
FORWARD TO IN JUNE 2008, HE WAS ALSO PLANNING HIS 30TH BIRTHDAY 22ND DEC 2008. SADLY KEVIN DIED ON
SUNDAY 25TH MAY 2008. HE WAS LAID TO REST IN BIRKHILL CEMETERY DUNDEE ON JUNE 3RD, SEVERAL HUNDRED
PEOPLE PAYED THEIR LAST RESPECTS, INCLUDING HIS PRIMARY TEACHER JANITOR DOCTOR AND EVEN HIS DENTIST
ALONG WITH MANY WORKMATES PAST AND PRESENT, WHEN WE LOST KEVIN WE LOST ONE IN A MILLION, HE IS AND
WILL ALLWAYS WILL BE SADLY MISSED, BUT FORGET HIM WE CERTAINLY WONT, REST IN PEACE. KEVIN. YOUR
